Bob Burnquist is a Brazilian-American professional skateboarder born October 10, 1976 in Rio de Janeiro, raised in São Paulo. He turned pro at age 14 and holds the all-time record for X Games medals by any athlete across any sport, with 30 total including 14 gold, earned between 1995 and 2015. In 2010, Burnquist became the first person to land a fakie 900, and he is the only athlete to have competed in every Summer X Games from the inaugural 1995 event through 2017.
