Youness Amrani Setup FAQ
What deck does Youness Amrani ride?
Youness Amrani rides a Almost 8.0" Impact Plus deck in a 8" width as of 2026. Deck choice is the single biggest factor in a pro's setup — width affects stance and stability, while concave and construction drive pop and flick. You can shop the same Almost 8.0" Impact Plus deck through the buy links in the setup above.
What trucks does Youness Amrani use?
Youness Amrani uses Venture Trucks trucks. Trucks determine how a skateboard turns and how it lands grinds, and pros typically match hanger width to deck width for proper alignment. Most pro skaters stick with one truck brand for years once they have the feel dialed in.
What wheels does Youness Amrani ride?
Youness Amrani rides Sml. Wheels wheels. Wheel size and hardness drive speed and grip — smaller, harder wheels favor technical street skating, while larger, softer wheels suit transition, park, and rougher terrain.
What shoes does Youness Amrani skate in?
Youness Amrani skates in Nike SB. Skate shoes are built with reinforced toe caps, vulcanized or cupsole construction, and grippy gum rubber outsoles for board feel and durability. Pros often go through several pairs a month from heavy daily skating.
What bearings does Youness Amrani use?
Youness Amrani uses Bones Swiss bearings. Bearings determine roll speed and how long your wheels keep spinning, and a properly maintained set should last as long as your wheels with regular cleaning. Pros usually upgrade bearings before swapping wheels.
About Youness Amrani
Youness Amrani is a Belgian professional street skateboarder from Hasselt, born November 1, 1991, of Moroccan descent. He grew up skating at a local park owned by his mother. He won the Red Bull Manny Mania AM competition in 2010 at 18, took Best Trick at the 2012 AmsterDamn Am with a kickflip manual to feeble grind on the handrail, and finished sixth in the 2013 Street League Select Series. He joined Almost Skateboards after being introduced to the brand by the late Lewis Marnell, and turned pro for Almost in 2014 alongside his debut DC Comics Green Lantern pro model.
